Charity Registration

Each month since December 2015 we’ve committed to holding a draw to select a charitable cause that will receive a £200 donation from us. We’re inviting local employers and staff to submit the details of their chosen charities who will then be in with a chance of winning.

A winning charity will be drawn at random and a representative from that charity will be invited into our offices in Poole to receive the £200 donation from Rubicon’s MD, Lloyd Banks.

Each month we’ll publish on our company blog the details of the draw and the charity benefiting from our donation, as well as the company that submitted the winning charity.

There’s no limit to the amount of applications we can process for each charity, the greater the number of requests you can generate, the higher the chances that your charity will be drawn and receive our monthly donation.

Complete the form below to register you and your chosen charity into our monthly charity draw.

Rubicon Recruitment & SafeWise

safewise-logo-strap-line-black

Rubicon has proudly supported the SafeWise charity since 2016, not only with charitable donations but with recruitment for new members of their team.

‘Skills For Life’

SafeWise provides realistic and immersive learning experiences to equip visitors with the skills, knowledge and confidence to live active, fulfilling and safer lives in stronger communities.

Through practical education in realistic scenarios they aim to:-

  • Increase awareness of safety and develop key life skills
  • Encourage visitors to develop personal confidence and to think for themselves
  • Promote teamwork and shared values
  • Encourage safer, healthier and more active lifestyles

They opened their first centre as ‘StreetWise’ in Bournemouth in 1998. This is a full indoor street scene including shops, house, bus, beach, train and much more. SafeWise Weymouth includes extensive fire safety scenarios and an outdoor road network with zebra and pedestrian crossings. They have exciting plans to update and expand both centres to allow the same range of programmes. In 2019 they’ll be opening, with our partners Dorset & Wiltshire Fire Service, a new third ‘state-of-the-art’ centre serving Swindon, Wiltshire, and further afield.

Total Donated to SafeWise: £10,258.50

“SafeWise has been fortunate to receive support from Rubicon Recruitment for many years. More recently, Rubicon were fundamental in securing two invaluable members of staff for the SafeWise team, as well as providing us with an in-depth overview of the local employment market and a bench-marking exercise as part of their charity contribution (estimated value £1,000). Rubicon has made an incredible mark on the next generation – Thank you!”
