Project Manager, Poole, Salary £48,000 – £55,000 DOE

The purpose of this role:

As Project Manager, overseeing the tender review planning and managing the entire order process, from customer order receipt to delivery. You will play a crucial role monitoring project costs to stay within budget and ensuring projects meet business margin targets. The role requires evaluating technical and commercial aspects during tender reviews, producing project plans, and serving as the main contact between the business and the customer.

As Project Manager you will:

  • Evaluate all technical and commercial elements of a sales enquiry.
  • Develop and update project plans for the team to align with customer delivery schedules.
  • Conduct regular project meetings, document minutes, and escalate issues if delivery is at risk.
  • Participate in customer visits/quality reviews to final product acceptance
  • Handle technical inquiries with engineering support.
  • Prioritise activities in the pre-production route up to release for manufacturing.

As Project Manager you will have:

  • Holds an HNC or Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field, with practical application in sales, projects, or design roles.
  • Demonstrates expertise in Project Management, Analysis, Design, Manufacturing Methods, Process Improvement, Technical Understanding, Documentation, Supervision, CAD, and CAD/CAM Design.
  • Possesses excellent technical knowledge, particularly in production processes, welding, NDT, and component manufacture.
  • Proven experience in developing relationships for generating new and future business.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willing to travel nationally and internationally.
