Customer Service Manager, £30,000 – £35,000 DOE, Poole

You are well rehearsed in understanding customer expectations and needs with customer satisfaction being priority at all times. Our client, who manufacture specialist premium, bespoke structures, have a large client base stretching the South Coast. As Customer Service Manager you’ll be responsible for constant customer contact and managing a small team aiming to continuously ‘deliver the dream’.

Responsibilities as Customer Service Manager include:

  • Working closely with the sales team; getting a good understanding of what the customer needs and expectations are
  • Managing a small team remotely, providing support where necessary and making decisions related to situations that have been escalated to management
  • Updating the company’s CRM system with all customer details including up to date communication through email and telephone
  • Booking surveys for after sales customers ensuring customer satisfaction was met at all times and dealing with any discrepancies
  • Liaising with installation team, planning and booking in jobs

Requirements as Customer Service Manager include:

  • Extensive experience working within an office based customer service role, with previous managerial experience being preferable
  • Being an organised individual with excellent time management through effective prioritising and planning
  • Experience using a CRM system to update customer details accurately through good attention to detail skills
  • Confident communication and liaising skills both written and verbal with a professional and clear telephone manner
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft suite in particular Excel to an intermediate level
