Customer Service Coordinator, Up to £19,000, Poole

You are an ambitious and driven individual experienced within the world of customer service, understanding the fundamental importance of delivering quality service. Our client, specialists within electronic systems for the maritime industry, have an extensive client base stretching worldwide. As Customer Service Coordinator you’ll be responsible for responding to customer enquiries, providing information and growing their prestigious customer base reporting directly to the Head of Operations and Sales.

Your responsibilities as Customer Service Coordinator:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for customer enquiries; responding to emails, quote requests and referrals
  • Gaining customer feedback regarding their experience with the company, probing on how to improve on the experience
  • Processing customer orders accurately onto SAGE 50, ensuring all details are entered correctly
  • Calculating delivery costs for orders, arranging shipments and communicating costs with the customer throughout the entirety of the process
  • Contacting lapsed customers, building a rapport and establishing future needs, spotting opportunities to up-sell

Your skills as Customer Service Coordinator:

  • Previous experience having worked within a customer serviced based role, preferably within an office environment
  • Experience having worked on a CRM system; updating customer contact information accurately with excellent attention to detail skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with a professional and calm telephone manner, with the confidence to make outbound calls to existing customers
  • A highly organised individual with the ability to effectively time manage through planning and prioritising of workloads
  • A hardworking and driven individual with preferable experience within sales order processing
