CNC Miller, Bournemouth, £19ph

Purpose

As a CNC Miller, you will be join a team of time-served engineers who are responsible for the setup and operation of various CNC mills to manufacture precision parts.

Responsibilities

As a CNC Miller, your responsibilities will include:

  • Machining a wide variety of components ranging from small to large batches
  • Operating CNC mills (Fanuc) and setting up the tooling and fixturing
  • Ensuring that components are machined to the correct specifications
  • Basic inspection of the completed parts
  • Possible minor maintenance of the machines
  • Adhering to health and safety requirements at all times

Background

The successful candidate for this CNC Miller role MUST have:

  • Previous experience operating CNC machines
  • Familiarity with Fanuc 
  • Good communication skills as well as numerical and literacy skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Live within sensible distance to our customers’ site
  • Consistent work history and employers we can obtain references from
