Logistics Coordinator, £9.50-£10.50 (shift dependent), North Baddesley, Temporary – Permanent
The Purpose of this Job
As the Logistics Coordinator you will work as part of a wider logistics team to manage the administration processes to support with the smooth and efficient running of the transport facility. You will work closely with the Logistics Supervisor and the wider logistics teams to provide support with all relevant goods in and goods out documentation and communication. The Transport Operative will be flexible to work across a variety of shift patterns either 6AM-2Pm and 2PM-10PM.
Your Responsibilities as the Logistics Coordinator include:
- Scheduling containers
- Coordinating transportation – goods in, goods out
- Liaising with couriers and transport companies on a regular basis
- Managing paperwork for exportation – day to day document plans
As the Logistics Coordinator, you’ll have:
- Experience of warehouse administration or logistics
- Excellent IT skills
- A pro-active, positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and develop
- Proficient communication skills
