Operations Director, Dorset, £100,000 package (£80k basic salary + bonus)

Purpose

As a key member of the Executive Management Team, this Operations Director presents a rare opportunity in a high growth business renowned for its commitment to providing a quality service, acting with integrity and trust towards the employees. The role’s primary focus is to motivate, lead and optimise operations within the business to achieve exceptional results.

Reporting into the COO, as Operations Director you will own performance and delivery, quality assurance and provide strong leadership and direction to the teams which will result in maximisation of productivity, exceeding client expectations and a fostered culture of excellence.

This role entails regular travel between two offices on the South Coast, and infrequent travel to the US business hub.

Responsibilities

As the Operations Director you will:

  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance performance and delivery across the business
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and analyse performance metrics / KPIs to identify areas to support the development of the team
  • Develop and implement operational processes to maximise productivity and optimise/streamline work processes
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business
  • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure customer satisfaction and service delivery excellence

The successful Operations Director will have:

  • Proven track record in a senior leadership role, leading large teams
  • Proven experience of implementing strategic plans, managing budgets and driving operational efficiency
  • An analytical and problem solving mindset
  • Natural ability to motivate and inspire teams to drive performance
  • Strong communication skills with the natural ability to build rapport and work collaboratively
