Purpose

As a TIG Welder you will be responsible for welding and fabricating a diverse range of products and assemblies of various size, complexity and surface finish. You will become a critical member of the company by ensuring the products made are of the highest standards of safety and quality. This role would suit a skilled TIG Welder who is looking for a new opportunity within a prestigious company.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a TIG Welder will be:

• TIG Welding various metals such as stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium 
• Using fabrication machinery to cut and shape assemblies
• Working from technical drawings and specifications
• Inspecting the quality of the welds to ensure they meet the correct standards
• Follow safety procedures and regulations
• Maintain and repair welding equipment as needed
• Collaborate with other departments where necessary

Background

The successful TIG Welder will have:

• Previous and recent TIG welding experience 
• Experience working with fabrication machinery
• Ability to interpret technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail
• A reliable, conscientious, and hardworking attitude
• Residence within sensible distance to our customers’ site as relocations won’t be considered
