Rubicon People Partnership’s Specialist Sectors Division has been instructed by a thriving, family-owned manufacturing business who are embarking on an exciting transitional time of growth. This is newly created role that reports directly into the Manufacturing Manager and alternates over two shifts.

As Production Manager your responsibilities will include:  

• Be responsible for weekly alternate day shift (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm)
• Meet daily production targets and audit performance
• Deploy people and equipment resource to ensure cost effective, safe, and efficient operations
• Identify opportunities for improvement and the elimination of waste
• Develop the by performance measurement including regular 121’s and performance reviews
• Oversee training and coaching plans for all staff

The ideal Production Manager will be able to demonstrate:  

• Experience within a similar people management role would ideal
• Experience within manufacturing or production
• Excellent communication skills
• Awareness of health and safety working practices
• Be flexible and adaptable
