The position is based Monday to Friday from 8am till 5pm, the role will involve working one weekend a year to assist with the annual stock take. 20 days holiday a year + bank holidays to start.

Experience is essential with 2 years service within a similar position required. All applicants require a counterbalance license and will be trained in the use of a sissor lift and reech truck.

Accept all deliveries in according to set company procedures.
· Ensure all deliveries are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
· Count, book in and put away new stock after receiving.
· Replenish picking shelves from Bulk warehouse storage areas ensuring adequate picking level are maintained.
· Accurately pick customer orders.
· Carefully pack customer orders.
· Accurately despatch customer orders.
· Write out consignment notes for carrier despatches.
· Assist with loading vans with next days' deliveries.
· Assist in warehouse stock takes and cyclical checks.
· Ensure stock is rotated according to age and expiry dates.
· Maintain high level of housekeeping at all times.
· Function as a team player, work closely with other employees.
· Work closely with all departments.
· Carry out all tasks in accordance with safe methods of work
· Abide by relevant health and safety guidelines.

Relevant Skills
· Valid FLT licence
· Previous experience in a similar role
· Confidence to use computers and barcode scanners- full training given
· Good Reading Skills and competent in basic arithmetic
· This role requires a good level of physical fitness
